2017 marks 40 years since the founders of the Morris & James pottery, Anthony Morris and Sue James, set the first post in the ground at Tongue Farm Road in Matakana.
Over the years the pottery has evolved from one man's vision to become one of the largest potteries in New Zealand.
To celebrate our landmark anniversary, a comprehensive Survey Exhibition will be presented in our “Collection Room” from Saturday the 4th of November 2017 until Sunday 10th December 2017- 10am-4pm daily. We invite you to view this series of works focused on Ant Morris’s creative journey, including what he's been up too since he took a step back from the Morris & James pottery in 2005.
